hello world!

an excerpt from the lense's travelogue, here's where it has been ever since it came into my life.. :)

straight out of the box, leaving the custody of the storekeeper, out into the hands of Ryhn,
and off to roam this new strange land called KL.

the famous classic building..

checking out the famous penang food where a traffic light stands in a mall.. (Pavillion.lol)

visited Carl's Jr!

witnessed the magnificent twin towers

oh and many more places..and definitely will go to many more places and meet many more new things.. Oh! how can i forget to mention, i met a most adorably cute gorgeous little thing called a 'baby'

and went to visit the tiger and his jungle clans at the Zoo Negara to celebrate New Year!

that's all for now! laytah!

gone..going..gone..

you buy a new laptop bag as a welcome-home gift to welcome your laptop's return from a 'rehab centre', only to find out that your laptop is a gonner.

what do you do?

*al-fatihah*

you have been loved, cared and now it's your time to go..

for the moments we have shared, the joy, pain, tears and laughters, you will be dearly missed..

listening to a song could take you way back into time. you'd find yourself smelling the room you were in some years ago when you were listening to the song back then when either it was your first time listening to it, or when you played/listened to the song a lot. that's listening to one song. imagine what listening to a whole album could do to you.
i've been in quite an extra sentimental mood for the past few days. inexplicable, but i'm allowing it..

mak tok was admitted to BP specialist. the doc said she's dehydrated. i talked to her couple of days back. she said she got the cold. no fever or anything (she just got back from hajj) so i was greatly surprised when abah texted me that he was at the hospital. she's much better now alhamdulillah. this chinese new year holiday, i'm going to go balik kampung la. got my tix already :)

i told abah i want to go to air terjun (waterfall) kota tinggi. teringin. recalled my trip to lata iskandar (not sure if that's the correct name of the place). it was a beau.so now i want to go to air terjun plak. i cant remember the last time i went to kota tinggi's. i'm shur it's back when i was just a toddler. honestly.

hello najwa..

an old post; on washrooms..

I take offence to dirty toilets, washrooms and any of their kind. Yes, I admit I am very particular when it comes to the hygiene of a toilet. Bear me nag, I definitely would when I am irked with dirty toilets. Now, wait, before you judge me and think that I am such a snob, can’t live in hardship, ungrateful for having a modern-canggih-sophisticated kind of toilets as compared to those who live in the slums or camps; yeah, I know those thoughts comes fast in the speed of lightning when I bring this up BUT, I am only complaining and criticizing BECAUSE, because, BE-cause, am I in a country at war? Nope. Is my country a poor country? Nope. In fact I know for sure my country’s claiming for the ‘First-world country’ title. More, hmm.. the city that I live in, is it a slum area? Nope. You see? If the places where I go to are places of the kinds I have mentioned above, then I would understand and definitely would not complain. (I have histories and hallmark moments in life of staying in jungles, going for trainings where we dug up and build our own loos ohkaay)

IMHO, toilet hygiene should be a priority in any city or state or country for that matter. Honest to God, and seriously. Especially when you claim the country is a Muslim/ Islamic country. (note that I have to put both since I don’t think the issue of which kind of country we are, are now settled and determined. That’s another issue altogether btw. Chet.) the fact that toilets are for the use of the public, imagine how many hundreds if not thousands or millions of people you’re sharing it with. Don’t your mind unfailingly wonder as to who have used the toilet? (no, I don’t mean who as in which public figures or celebrities etc)

I believe that people should always and always use the toilet and then make sure it’s clean before you leave the cubicle. People are so selfish these days! Just imagine if you are to need to use the loo, and you come in to a really urgh-undescribable horrifying condition of a toilet ( I would like to spare the details), how would you feel? Is it hard to use and have always the thought that ‘what if you were the one to use after this’ in mind? Use it, and leave it in a condition as how you would like to personally find it if you are to use it. Think of others as how you think for yourself. Oh, on that note, and if the toilet is clogged or there’s any leakage or anything of the kind; go report it to the authorities around. Paling-paling pun, go tell the cleaners. Don’t think that just because there are makcik2 cleaners who are paid to clean up the toilet, you're free to go any how? for God’s sake, have you heard of collective responsibility? And furthermore, the makcik2 cleaners are old. Don’t you have the slightest pity for them? Imagine if they’re your mother, grandmother, aunty, relative or any of your loved ones. Help la by just spraying clean the floor and the toilet bowl with water after you’re done with your business. If everyone’s to be more conscious with toilet hygiene, I won’t have to spend my first 5minutes in the cubicle spraying and washing and scrubbing the toilet clean before I could use them. And I wouldn’t have to use paper towels to line the toilet bowl seat and contribute to global warming.

Global warming. *sigh* that’s another issue altogether. Oh dear, so many issues we have don’t we.

And for ALL that I have rambled and ranted; I congratulate University of Malaya’s Faculty of Law. The first time I was there, I was greatly impressed with the washrooms. It’s clean as compared to any other institution’s washroom I have ever been to in Malaysia. Seriously. I couldn’t stop myself from being amazed. And after the numerous visits even until today, I have always looked forward to ‘spending time’ in the faculty’s washroom. :D am greatly pleased. A happy washroom-user I am there.

easier said than done..

perbualan ini mengambil tempat di dalam sebuah bilik di salah sebuah hostel institut pengajian tinggi di malaysia.

ryhn: "Daad. you know how sometimes we get hurt, by a person/persons, of either what they do, say, or whatever; which they're not aware of their doings- yeah, how do we deal with that? and the fact that you know its best for you to avoid that person, but you just can't. maybe coz they're your friend."

daad: "tell them how you feel, or what they've done la"

ryhn: "that's forever not in the option list. telling is just a no-no. you see Daad, we know that person doesn't have any intention to hurt us. they don't even know that we're hurt by them. personally, i know the solution is best to just avoid and just go far, but when that's not ever possible (at least for now) and that would be compromising the friendship; how? "

daad: "you just telan. just telan. it's hard in the beginning. really hard."

ryhn: "yeah, i know. i've seen you deal with that. why do you think i'm asking you this?" *grin*

daad: "you just have to learn to telan and disregard. in time, it won't affect you anymore"

ryhn: "it's all in us, really kan."

Anger, when they normally don't get to you, once they do, they hit hard. it's all in us. And they can last pretty long, and takes effect in many different inexplicable way and manner. We'd like to think it's gone, but once in a while, and often more, especially when least expected or wanted; they come knocking the little heart, causing disturbance and conflicts. Worst, when it affects others around you. Especially your loved ones. It's unfair, and you have got to deal with it. I guess it's all in us. Your struggle alone. Your battle alone. Just telan. Sounds so simple kan? Easier said than done i heard, easier said than done i say.
